Yuichi: Excuse me. I bought this phone charger here yesterday.

すみません。昨日こちらでこの携帯充電器を買ったのですが。

Assistant: Is everything all right?

いかがされましたか。

Yuichi: Well, it’s the wrong type.

実は、機種を間違えてしまった。

Assistant: I see. Did you bring your receipt with you?

承知いたしました。レシートはお持ちでいらっしゃいますか。

Yuichi: Sure, I have it right here.

はい、こちらにあります。

Assistant: Thank you very much. Would you like to exchange it?

ありがとうございます。交換をご希望でいらっしゃいますか。

Yuichi: Actually, I would like my money back, please.

J実は返金をして頂きたいのですが。

Assistant: That’s not a problem. Hold on a moment, and I will take care of that for you.

大丈夫です。少々お待ちください。

Yuichi: That would be great. Thank you so much for your help.

Here's some very useful language for shopping in English:

Shop assistant: Can I help you?
Shopper: No thanks, I'm just looking. 

Shop assistant: Is there something I can help you with?
Shopper: Yes, thanks. I'm looking for some good souvenirs. 

Shopper: Excuse, how much is this t-shirt/is that t-shirt/are these shoes/are those shoes?
Shop assistant: That t-shirt is $20. / Those shoes are $250.
Shopper: Can I try it on? / Can I try them on?
Shop assistant: Certainly. What size are you?
Shopper: I'm a size M. / My shoe size is 8.
